Warm welcome to all fans of professional workwear. Today I have the pleasure of conducting a short interview with our client Piotr, who has been using Cat Excavator S3 shoes in his work for some time now. We will find out what job does Piotrek do and what is his opinion about this model of safety shoes. Have a nice time reading.

Piotrek, tell me what kind of work do you do every day? How much time do you spend in work shoes a day?

To tell you briefly about myself, I am Piotrek, a construction worker, to be exact, a carpenter working aborad in Austria, and, as I remember well, one of Balticworkwear's satisfied customers for at least 6 years. Being a carpenter, I spend most of my time in my work clothes 5 days a week, and sometimes at the weekend at home it happens that the work clothes are also my outfit out of work. Referring to work shoes, in my opinion, they are the most important part of clothing because you wear them 10 or even 12 hours a day, so during this time it is appropriate that the foot and the whole leg have comfort.

You have been using many models of safety boots before. What was missing there?

During the time that I work in construction, I have always tried to choose shoes so that I feel comfortable in them. When buying work shoes, I paid attention to the fact that they were waterproof, and at the same time breathable, so that the leg do not sweat, and above all, they were comfortable and durable, and that they did not limit all kinds of work-related movements, e.g. bending, kneeling. And so far there was always something missing in the shoes I was wearing.

If you had to tell users something about these shoes in a few words?

The CATERPILLAR EXCAVATOR Safety Boots, which I have been using for half a year, have met my wildest expectations. The current working conditions in Austria, i.e. frost, snow, mud, make no diference for Cat Excavator. After a whole day of work, the outside of the shoes look like they were soaked, but inside they are dry. So shoe did not soak and my feet did not sweat. The first impression... they are very massive, but compared to others shoes they are much lighter. The way they are made, i.e. a rubber nose, makes any abrasions not dangerous for them. Another advantage of these shoes is that when wearing them, despite the hight, the heel counter is made in such a way that the foot slides in by itself, so you don't need a spoon or nerves when wearing. These shoes are also made of leather, so keeping them clean should not be a problem for anyone, even people who do not care about the cleanliness of shoes (just like me, for me a shoe is supposed to work, not look).

Is the price-performance ratio good for you?

Referring to the price of this product compared to the quality and comfort I would rate 100% positive. The price is adequate to what we get. PS if by the time these shoes are completely destroyed no other better shoes appear on my workwear radar then the Cat Ecavator will be my next choice :)

Piotrek, thank you for your time and sent photos.

Thank you.
