But today the sun is shining, neighbor

The first signs of summer appear outside the windows. The sun, more and more temperatures, generally ... in the coming weeks it will not be easy in all industries that do not involve an air-conditioned office and a fan on the desk. We usually think it's summer so it must be hot. Sun in the eyes? Well in the end it is, the summer sun has to be. But do we have to struggle like this in the name of an idea?

Glasses - see what you are looking through

What awaits us? More sun and longer exposure times due to longer days mean that we will more often seek escape and cover from the irritating sun. On the other hand, I have these glasses from last year from Sopot, they are better than nothing, they fit perfectly for the construction. Exactly, throw them in the trash immediately and forget you had them.

Okay, so now we choose safety glasses ... FT 3 lens 1.7 polycarbonate-acetate-ribonucleinose .... what is it all about and do we need it for something? If you are not a welder, you do not work with devices emitting ultraviolet light or with mercury lamps, then you can skip this part.

Pay attention to two things, the marking EN 166 embossed on the glasses and the marking of the UV filter class, or the lens shade. Why is it important? The EN 166 marking on the glasses indicates that it is a personal protective equipment intended for professional use - it imposes basic requirements on the resistance of the lens to the impact of solid particles - i.e. this chip will be reflected, it will remain in the lens of glasses or in our eye.

If you are buying glasses with a smoked, tinted lens, make sure your glasses are equipped with a UV filter. Why is it so important? Your eye, when you put on the tinted glasses, thinks that it receives too little light and your pupil dilates, your eye simply thinks that it is dark outside. As a result, more light and UV radiation reaches it. Glasses without a UV filter will cause your eye to receive too much UV radiation, which can lead to burns, radiation and eye damage.

When choosing safety glasses, pay attention to the optical class (scale from 1 to 3), where 1 is glasses that you can wear throughout the entire work shift, and 3 are glasses for short-term use.
