Jeans is a material that won the hearts of (I think) all of us. What if it was used together with the best materials dedicated to workwear?

Some history

We can find the first information about denim pants in the 17th century. This material was first created in Genoa in Italy and de Nimes in France. This historical achievement is also reflected in English - the new creation was called "de Nimes material", which gave rise to the word denim, i.e. an alternative name for denim. However, this material made a real career overseas. During the American gold rush, workers needed tear-resistant work trousers (I wonder how they would react if someone told them that someone would invent Cordura and stretch in 100 years: D). This is where an American businessman of German origin, Levi Strauss, came into play (not to be confused with another visionary of workwear with this name;)). Together with his partner, they patented a model of trousers made of denim material, additionally reinforced with strong seams or metal snaps. You don't want to believe that to this day we operate on the basis of the same solutions, right? Over the years, thanks to, among others, Westerns or pop culture, jeans have penetrated our everyday life, becoming an inseparable element of almost every wardrobe.

Jeans today

As you can see, denim has a strong working history! So why give it up today? The best manufacturers of workwear are still eager to use denim when designing and sewing workwear. These types of products provide comfort at work and look great at the same time. Sometimes you can even pick them up as casual pants, not meant for hard work!

So which models are worth paying attention to? Let's take a look at, for example, two proposals from the Dassy Professional Workwear brand. This Belgian company offers us Osaka and Melbourne pants. Practical and fashionable design are the basic features of these products. Both models have been sewn in a slim fit cut, so you don't have to worry about old-fashioned wide legs. The great advantage of these pants is, of course, the four-way stretch. We have described its great properties more than once, so we will only remind you that thanks to this material, the pants adapt to you, and not the other way around. The Melbourne model is also additionally reinforced with anti-abrasion Cordura on the knees and equipped with additional pockets.
