However, when the noise level is in the range from 35 to 70 dB, it can have a negative impact not only on the hearing organ, but also on the entire body. Fortunately, this is not yet the level of noise that could damage an employee's hearing. The real dangers begin when he is in a noise of up to 85 decibels. This is when many employees complain of intense headaches and, in extreme cases, severe hearing loss. It is most dangerous when the machines generate noise above 85 decibels. Then, hearing damage and even hearing loss are guaranteed. Therefore, hearing protection at work is a must.

How can you reduce noise in the workplace?

When the noise level at work increases, its reduction should also increase. Only then will you ensure the highest possible level of safety in the workplace. When you buy your employees ear muffs, they will provide them with greater reduction with increased noise levels. Noise can be divided into several types. The first is impulse noise. In practice, these are short sounds of very high intensity. This can be, for example, a firearm shot or an explosion of an energy arc. The second type is variable noise. How do ear muffs work?
