When it starts to get chilly outside, you probably think not only about buying a good jacket, but also a hat and gloves. Today's post will be devoted to the latter. Contrary to appearances, work gloves do not have to be boring. In our online store you will find some interesting types. We will tell you whether it is better to choose leather, insulated or disposable work gloves? Which work gloves will be the best choice?
Work gloves made of natural or synthetic leather?
Manufacturers are competing in creating new types of synthetic leather. This material does not come from animals, which is one of the most important differences between synthetic and natural leather. On the other hand, leather gloves made of natural leather also have their supporters. Leather is somewhat flexible, although the synthetic leather version may be a bit more stretchy, thus giving you more dexterity at work. Both materials will be largely waterproof, especially in the full grain version (chamois leather will get wet sooner). For this reason, leather gloves can be used outdoors, in difficult conditions. It is worth paying attention to which gloves are machine washable - hybrid and synthetic leather gloves can often be successfully machine washed. The great advantage of leather gloves is their durability - unlike knitted gloves, they can be used for up to several years.
When to buy membrane work gloves?
Gloves with a membrane provide the appropriate level of warmth and comfort in adverse weather conditions. The gripping part can be made of natural leather. Such work gloves are additionally often equipped with a warm lining. However, the special membrane used in them is waterproof and windproof. All the technologies used in them mean that these work gloves can always be easily taken off and on. Such work gloves are comfortable and solid at the same time. Although they are much less known than classic leather gloves, we think you should be interested in them. Unfortunately, these models are usually thicker, which guarantees less dexterity, but they will be irreplaceable when working in really extreme conditions.
Durable disposable gloves are not a myth!
Do you think that disposable gloves are always the ones that tear when taken out of the packaging, and can be thrown away after one use? We found a way to do it. By definition, Grippaz work gloves are disposable. "By definition" is an important element of this sentence, because the above-average durability of Grippaz nitrile gloves means that they can be used many times, even in a car repair shop. They are truly innovative and high-tech work gloves. A special mixture of nitrile butadiene rubber was used for their production. It provides very good grip and durability. Currently, these work gloves are available from us in two colors, orange and black. This type of disposable gloves will be used, among others, in: car workshops, paint mixing plants, spray painting. They will guarantee you a firm grip thanks to the unique structure of the fish scale. In autumn and winter they may not keep your hands warm, but in wet conditions they will improve your dexterity and grip.
Coated gloves for the whole year
This particular type of glove may or may not be insulated. The grip and top parts are coated in them - materials such as foamed nitrile are used as a coating, which has a rough texture and thanks to it guarantees a firm grip. Coated work gloves are available in a standard version, made of elastic knitted fabric, but also in a warm version, with a lining that is pleasant to the touch. These work gloves are flexible and aesthetic, with a welt for greater comfort. Among the coated models you will find, among others: Strauss gloves and Snickers gloves. They are distinguished by very high quality, as befits such renowned producers.
