Looking at the clothing market, we see more and more professionals in personalized clothing. Logo here, phone number there .. does it even work?

We testify about ourselves all the time at work. What we do is our showcase. Each successful project or project with a smiling customer shaking hands is a guarantee of "good reputation" delivered by word of mouth. Because a specialist "on recommendation" will always be better, right?

Okay, but is that enough? Often not. We can hit so that despite great investments, our actions may not translate into recognition and thus - simply better money. That is why many specialists and companies focus on a better picture at work. Starting with logos, business cards, wrapped cars and ending with social profiles. A large part also focuses on the full visual identification of the employee achieved by personalizing the clothing. What speaks for this? Mainly two reasons. The first is being a "living advertisement" - printing on workwear is a guarantee of reaching people all the time. Working in such clothing, our logo or telephone number can be seen all the time by every client, passer-by or ordering party. Well done, it can simply stick in the memory, so that not a potential customer will have a problem with whom to turn to the next time. The second reason is ... professionalism. Personalized clothing adds style and quality. Imagine two professionals - one in frayed, several-year-old pants filled with stains, splashes and other dirt, and the other - dressed from head to toe in professional clothing, with a logo on the chest and their basic contact details on the back. Which of them will the customer trust faster? A large part of the society are visual learners who, when they see a professional taking care of himself, reflecting on his appearance at work, convince them faster than a professional who does not. Therefore, a relatively small investment can translate into a much better perception of ourselves in our work.

So how do you personalize your clothes?

The methods are prints and embroidery.

There are three types of the most popular types of prints. The first is printing with flex or flock foil. It is a method of cutting a foil with a special plotter and then welding it into clothing. An example of such a method can be found on ... T-shirts of NBA players. Their numbers are made with this method. It is one of the cheapest methods that works mainly for simple logos or inscriptions. The disadvantages include the fact that the foil may come off after some time. However, a properly made print can last for many years, while remaining resistant to weather conditions and washing.

The second option is transfer printing. The desired print is made on a special plastic surface (called a transfer) and then transferred to the clothing by high temperature. The advantage of this method is full-color printing (such an option is not available for flex or flock foil). However, it is impossible to define a clear price - everything will depend on the size of the transfer.

And the third option - screen printing. The most cost-effective method of printing high-volume printing. It allows you to add a lot of "goodies". A special emulsion subjected to UV light is put on the mesh, which is pressed onto the labeled clothing. It is by far the most durable method. It has a high resistance to external factors. Its advantage is also popularity, most specialized companies deal with screen printing. With this method, however, we will not make a print containing a gradient (in other words: a tonal transition), i.e. a graphic where one color falls into another.

In some cases, it makes sense to think about embroidery. Currently, the most common focus is on computer embroidery - specialists put the logo into the program, and then the machine sews our graphics on the garment. And it's ready. Embroidery is the most durable method of marking clothing - after all, it is sewing that enters the structure of the garment, not "glued" material. When embroidering, however, you have to pay attention to the increased costs associated with the preparation of the machine for embroidery.

And what is worth marking?

The rule is simple - the more space, the better. The best choice is a sweatshirt, jacket and a T-shirt (exception: embroidery on a T-shirt - we do not recommend it for purely comfortable reasons, it does not wear well). Trousers and hats also work well. It is worth overprinting your logo or name. Phone numbers are also useful. The clearer the better!
