The 5911 dust filter with P1 protection class provides protection of the respiratory system against solid and liquid particles such as water vapor, oil mist or dust. It is used in combination with 3M half-masks from the 6000, 6500 and 7500 series and with the 3M full-face mask from the 6000 series. The filter is extremely light. It does not restrict the field of view and ensures low breathing resistance. Using the 3M 5911 filter increases the service life of the gas filters. This is because the filter traps all larger solids. In order to maintain a long service life, the efficiency of the filter systems and the low breathing resistance of the absorber, the prefilter should be replaced frequently.
