Today we are talking about CAT Trade DWR stretch work shorts, light and flexible work shorts that pleasantly surprised us. Stay with us for a moment to see that these shorts are a nice break from the bestsellers of leading brands such as Snickers Workwear or Strauss.

The first impression is quite positive, light and airy-looking material, solid triple seams. The entire structure of the material is mechanical stretch - a mixture of cotton, polyester and spandex, which is responsible for the pleasant stretch of the material. So the pants do not have stretch inserts like Snickers 6141, but they are still very comfortable and stretchy. You can easily crouch in them.

Going further in the construction of the pants, triple stitching was used on the outer part of the legs so we shouldn't have problems with tears. A material gusset has been sewn into the crotch to take over the stress of the material and prevent the shorts from tearing in the crotch. An interesting solution was used at the waist, although there are no elastic inserts, the material stretches a bit. In addition, rubber inserts have been sewn around the waist to keep the pants on the hips. A big plus for this, the first time I see such a solution in work shorts.

How are the CAT Trade DWR work shorts made?

The shorts have plenty of exterior pockets, including a cargo pocket on the left and right thighs, a pencil pocket, a zippered valuables pocket, a ruler pocket and a knife pocket, as well as two hook-and-loop fastened back pockets. You'll also find a sturdy polyamide hammer loop on the hip. The belt loops are wide so you can easily mount a belt of any manufacturer there. As I mentioned above, the triple seams on the outer parts of the legs and the gusset in the crotch together with the elastic material promise well when it comes to using the shorts. How will it be in practice? We'll see.
