Today a word about work shoes ...
Shoes that provide protection are a must - everyday sneakers from sports promotion will not work in the work, although sometimes when we look at some places, some people still prefer to find out about it on their own skin. Well ... sooner or later reality verifies everything: P Different jobs require different protection, so fitting is something you can't start without. And here the first stairs may appear. Safety shoes are divided into classes - from basic protection to the most advanced. Most often on the market, we can find S1 / S1P shoes (basic protection, heel construction, presence of a toe cap) or S3 (advanced protection, resistance to water, oils, lubricants, anti-puncture sole) or S5 (shoes for specific tasks, strictly specialized, made from specialized synthetics). The world's largest manufacturers know that protection alone is not everything - in the modern world, comfort also matters (because how to work all day long, when it hurts in the heel?), Appearance (estimate at the construction site must be correct!) As well as modern technologies that optimize virtually every aspect - smell, structure, functionality, weight, resistance and much, much more. Therefore, after entering the store, it is worth asking the seller about a few basic issues:
- What protection class does the shoe have?
- Will it be fit for my job?
- What properties does it have?
- What material is it made of?
- Will it protect me from the conditions at work?
A few questions can completely dispel doubts and avoid making yourself a fool. And if not yourself, it is definitely your wallet. When buying, pay attention to how the shoe is made, how it is built. Often shoes break in specific places, e.g. on the seams (therefore the more of them the better), on the bend of the foot in the area of the toes (in the position of the foot when squatting - here it is worth making sure that the shoe you buy also has a bloated toe cap. which will prevent it from getting damaged when standing up and often unknowingly "shuffling the shoe", which in consequence may lead to the destruction of the sole) or at the toe cap. Shoes made of breathable mesh are not the best idea for a person working in mud, dirt and the like. And for a warehouse keeper it is an exaggeration to walk among the shelves in shoes with a thick sole and a insulated upper. It is also important not to treat shoes as swabs and to properly care for them (and this is a topic that we will discuss another time). It should also be remembered that there are no indestructible shoes - work shoes, just like any other, wear out over time. Each product also has the right to break down due to a purely factory defect, which is why there is a preventive consumer complaint institution. However, the point of "improper use of the shoe" is the undisputed leader in rejected complaints. And such a situation comes from improper selection and fitting. And as a result, the whole complex complaint plan ...
And while we are at the process - when can it begin and what are the conditions?
A complaint (colloquially: sacred consumer right) is a customer's demand to the seller resulting from unsatisfactory quality of the service. Therefore, if the goods do not fulfill the role referred to above, we have the right to complain about the shoes. The store is obliged to accept and analyze such a complaint - it has 14 days to do so (in the case of mail-order sale, this period begins with the appearance of the package in the company). The store may accept or reject the complaint - depending on whether the product has mechanical defects (i.e. those that result directly from improper use or lack of proper maintenance).
How does the complaint process look at balticworkwear.com?
The first step is to submit a complaint - the shoes should be packed and sent to the address provided on the website, attaching the complaint form - the basic document confirming the application. You should also attach any document confirming the fact that the product was purchased in a given place (receipt, invoice, transfer confirmation, etc.). You can also bring your shoes to one of our stationary stores. The Complaints Department has 14 days to process your request and give you an answer - the information is most often sent via SMS. You always have a choice - exchange for another piece or model or a refund. To provide you with greater comfort, we do not consider our decision to be irrevocable - we can simply be wrong and therefore we report negative complaints to the manufacturer of the given footwear, who will re-analyze the case. After receiving a reply from him, we pass it on to you.
