The secret of the Cordura fabric is that it has an innovative weave of fibers. It is a combination of specially adapted materials. Then these fibers are properly treated. No one really knows how this happens, because the whole process is a trade secret. Cordura material is usually polyamide with a polyurethane coating with Teflon finish. It has a plain weave and is waterproof. Cordura fabric is made of durable nylon fibers. Cordura fabric is very often used as part of workwear. Cordura - how to wash?

Cordura is not washable! However, you can clean it with commercially available cleaners. They must not contain any solvents. You can use soapy water or regular dishwashing liquid for these purposes. Be careful not to use chemicals to clean the Cordura fabric that may scratch its surface. However, do not worry about washing clothes with Cordura inserts - you can wash them in the washing machine, following the recommendations on the label.
